1. MyQUEST (Malaysian Quality Evaluation System for Private Colleges)

My Quest is an instrument developed by the Ministry of Education to evaluate the performance of private higher education institutions in Malaysia. It is designed to encourage quality improvements among the colleges and universities by looking into the 5 core quality criteria, which are student profile, programme recognition, graduate recognition, quality of resources and soundness of governance. In Dec 2020, Equator College was recognized as one of the 14 institutions that achieved MyQuest 6-Star in Malaysia.

2. MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency)

Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) is a constitutional body governed by the Ministry of Education. The main role of the MQA is to carry out the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) to ensure the quality of Malaysia’s higher education. MQA enforces the course accreditation to regulate the curriculum and operational standards of higher learning institutions. When a course is fully accredited by MQA, it means that the course fulfills the quality standards of MQA.

3. ISO 9001

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard measurement dedicated to Quality Management Systems (QMS). It outlines a framework for improving the quality and a systematic way of understanding for an organization looking to provide products and services that consistently meet the requirements and expectations of users and other applicable parties in the most efficient manner possible. The QMS is the aggregate of all the processes, resources, assets, and cultural values that support the goal of customer satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

4. Technology Association of Malaysia (Persatuan Teknologi Malaysia)

The Technological Association of Malaysia (TAM) is an organisation for all levels and disciplines of technologists, ranging from professionals to students and individuals whose career is technological in nature. The objective of TAM is to bring about a clearer understanding and appreciation towards technology and to instill an impelling desire to achieve professional competence and the highest standard of technological skills. Our programmes are accredited by the Technology Association of Malaysia. Graduates with the mentioned qualifications are highly demanded in the industry.
