Monash University Malaysia, which was established in 1998, is the third largest campus of Australia's largest university and the first foreign university campus in Malaysia.
They are a research-focused Australian university ranked 44th among the top 100 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight (Go8). Monash University is also ranked 57 in the QS 2023 World University Rankings.

Intake 2024/25 The campus hosts a wide range of facilities for the well-being of students, including catering facilities, food outlets, gymnasium and outdoor swimming pool. Students can also take advantage of many clubs and societies that organise exciting events, be it flea markets and competitions or cultural and music festivals.
Since it is located within the Sunway City in Subang Jaya, students can easily access numerous shopping, leisure and urban activities within this young, vibrant township.
The Academic Board of Monash University is responsible for oversight of the University's academic affairs, including the maintenance of high standards in education and research. That oversight extends to all Monash’s campuses globally i.e. with four campuses in Australia, as well as campuses in Malaysia, Jakarta, Indonesia, Suzhou, China, Mumbai, India and a centre in Prato in Italy.
Moreover, the Academic Board applies the same educational quality standards to all Monash degrees, wherever they are taught. Our graduates receive a testamur awarded by Monash University, regardless of the campus where they complete their degree. This oversight extends to Monash degrees that are offered jointly with other universities.
All Monash’s qualifications are quality assured by the Australian Government’s Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and local equivalent accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies in locations where we operate
