Over the last 30 years we have increased our portfolio to include Degrees and a Master's and established links with leading institutions, including University of the Arts London Awarding Body and Trinity College London as well as Hearst Magazine, publishers of ELLE, ELLE Decoration, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire and Cosmopolitan. We have given students the skills and confidence necessary to progress into some of the most prestigious and competitive drama schools, music conservatoires and art and design schools in the world.
We are accredited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate and were awarded ‘Excellent’ in five out of nine areas including boarding, and achieved ‘Good’ in all other areas in our last full integrated inspection.
We are also reviewed by QAA, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.

Our class sizes are small, our school is diverse and our staff have excellent experience in industry. WIth an average class size of 15 students to one lecturer, we give one-on-one support as well as personalised tuition, so you can become the artist you want to be. At CSVPA, you will make friends across the courses and years, sharing ideas and experinece that elevates your work and inspires you to explore your own creativty.
Our BA Fashion students received national press coverage for their final collections. Our MA students have gone to work for a global brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Esquire magazine. Our Extended Diploma and Foundation graduates have been accepted into some of top Universities and Conservatories.
As a student at CSVPA, you will have your own space to design, create, rehearse or practice. All of our studios are designed to look, feel and operate like those you would work in during your professional career. Students have access to our studio spaces 7 days a week and our lecturers provide personalised tuition. At CSVPA, we provide all your printing, your calico and pattern paper free of charge, so you can experiment, make mistakes and learn without worrying about having to constantly buy more materials.
All our Extended Diploma and Foundation courses are validated by University of the Arts London (UAL)
A beautiful, multicultural city, Cambridge is rich with English history and lots to do. Arts and culture can be enjoyed withn world famous museum that show some of the rarest collections, sculptures, art and ancient antiques. Cambridge is one of the safest places to live in Britain.
We provide a number of options and we highly recommend you stay in our halls of residence where you will benefit endlessly from the opportunity of being surrounded by other creative art students as well as the on-site dedicated welfare support. The primary accommodation for our over 18s is at Master’s House. Designed with your needs in mind, we aim to provide safe and secure accommodation but under more university style conditions, appropriate to our older students. Master’s House is only an 8 minute cycle ride from CSVPA but your journey will take you over the River Cam and through Jesus Green, one of the most beautiful parks in Cambridge.
The English Language Centre is located in a beautiful historic building right in the heart of Cambridge city centre, just a few steps away from the world-famous King’s College. English is an essential part of your stay at CSVPA, and students are expected to speak only English at all times in the college buildings. Achieving the IELTS grade required for university entry is crucial, so all students whose English is not at the appropriate level receive at least 5 hours’ of English tuition a week. We provide support you need to achieve your learning goals. We balance a focus on improving your English to help you live, study, intergrate and participate in life in UK.
