Criteria

  • Open to Malaysian students only
  • Students must meet the following minimum academic requirements:
    • A-levels: ABB/ABC/AAC
    • SAM/AUSMAT: ATAR 85
    • CPU/CIMP: 85%
    • UCSI Diploma: CGPA 3.50 (other institutions accepted on a case by case basis)
    • Foundation: CGPA 3.50
    • STPM: CGPA 3.30
    • UEC: 4A & 13 pts (based on 5 subjects)
    • IB: 34 points
  • Only applicable for the degrees in the following fields : Medicine and Pharmacy

Highlights

  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 for every semester, below which the Education Grant will be revoked.
  • Successful applicants are to pay any miscellaneous fees and other fees that are not covered by the education grant.
  • Successful applicants agree to pay back the scholarship/bursary/grant amount received up to date in case of withdrawal.
  • Tuition Fee waivers are not cumulative. If recipients qualify for other UCSI Scholarship, Grant, Assistance or Sibling's scheme, recipients will be entitled to either one that they are eligible for.
  • In the event of a dispute on the eligibility for the scholarship/bursary/grant, the decision made by the Scholarship Selection Committee is final and no appeals will be entertained.
  • The UCSI University Trust reserves the right to decide on the quantum and number of scholarships/bursary/grant to be awarded or revoked.

Details

This education grant provides partial tuition fee waiver for the candidates who demonstrate good academic achievements and active participation in extracurricular activities. The education grant entitlement corresponds to the academic achievements obtained.

Application

Applicants: 

  1. Must meet the requirements to register for the selected programme and pay the registration fee to first obtain the UCSI University's Letter of Acceptance.
  2. Submit the application form together with the Letter of Acceptance to the UCSI University Trust before the application deadline (typically a full month before the intended degree intake month).
  3. Produce certified true copies of examination results and other supporting documents stipulated in the form during the interview
  4. Will be informed by the UCSI University Trust via e-mail within 2 weeks IF application is successful
  5. Must notify UCSI University of acceptance within 2 weeks of being offered the twin-sharing university accommodation. The offer will be withdrawn and will not be
    redeemable or exchangeable for cash after the 2 week period should there be no notification of acceptance.
