Criteria

  • Malaysian Bumiputera
  • Either 1 of the parents is Bumiputera
  • 18 years old (at year of application)
  • Applicant is in good health (as verified through a medical check-up)
  • Achieved the following SPM results :
    • Grade A (including A-) in 6 subjects including:
      • Mathematics
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • 2 other subjects
    • minimum grade B+ in Additional Mathematics
    • Pass interview as set by the university
  • Applicable for applicants, who plans to enrol into Kolej MARA Kulim for Foundation in Science and then progresses to study Medicine (MBBS) in Taylor's University.
  • Not sponsored by any other sponsoring body/company or PTPTN loan

Highlights

  • As this is a Convertible Loan, recipients are required to repay MARA upon completion of the degree studies.
  • Sponsorship Repayment (amount) will be determined by MARA upon completion of the study based on recipients' CGPA/
  • Recipient will be studying Foundation in Kolej MARA Kulim first before proceeding to study Medicine degree (MBBS) in Taylor's University.
  • Applicants must update their application details to reflect their actual SPM results  within 10 days of the SPM results announcement.

The Youth Talent Development Programme is a Convertible Study Loan under the People's Trust Council (MARA) program for SPM Leaver.
