Criteria

Recipient is enrolling into UNITAR Conventional Diploma programmes
Recipients must also be from B40 family, i.e. STR Recipients who can get 100% PTPTN Loan
Recipients must meet Minimum Entry Requirements set by UNITAR for the chosen programme
Household is under the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Scheme which PTPTN Loan entitlement must be Full STR Category Amount B40

Highlights

All other costs/payment such as semester/resource fees must be paid by the student.
B40 Special Bursary will not be applicable if the PTPTN Entitlement of applicant is not Under B40 Category / Sumbang Tunai Rahmah (STR).

Awards

Tuition Fee

50% off tuition fee after deducting 100% PTPTN is covered by the bursary.

For example, student enter in January 2025 Intake for Diploma Programme which comes to RM 30,260. PTPTN managed to cover RM 21,000, the remaining RM 9,260, 50% (RM 4,630) will be covered by UNITAR under this subsidy.

Example:

Student apply for Diploma in Fashion Design = RM 30,260
PTPTN STR Category Amount = RM 21,000
Balance = RM 9,260
50% Covered by UNITAR = RM 4,630
Balance to be borne by student = RM 4,630

Details

This bursary is offered to students from B40 family (STR Recipients) with 100% PTPTN loan to cover the outstanding tuition fee for UNITAR Diploma Programmes.
