Criteria

  • Recipient is enrolling into UNITAR Conventional Diploma programmes
  • Recipients must also be from B40 family, i.e. STR Recipients who can get 100% PTPTN Loan
  • Recipients must meet Minimum Entry Requirements set by UNITAR for the chosen programme
  • Household is under the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Scheme which PTPTN Loan entitlement must be Full STR Category Amount B40

Highlights

  • All other costs/payment such as semester/resource fees must be paid by the student.
  • B40 Special Bursary will not be applicable if the PTPTN Entitlement of applicant is not Under B40 Category / Sumbang Tunai Rahmah (STR).

Awards

Tuition Fee

Balance up to RM 5,400 off tuition fee after deducting 100% PTPTN is covered by the bursary.

For example, student enter in January 2024 Intake for Diploma Programme which comes to RM 31,800. PTPTN managed to cover RM 21,000, the remaining RM 10,800, 50% (RM5,400) will be covered by UNITAR under this subsidy.

Details

This bursary is offered to students from B40 family (STR Recipients) with 100% PTPTN loan to cover the outstanding tuition fee for UNITAR Diploma Programmes.
