Criteria

  • Participate in any National-level sports competition and above in selected sports competition:
    • Swimming
    • Badminton
    • Basketball
    • Table Tennis
    • Futsal / Football
    • Volleyball
    • Dodgeball
    • Netball
    • Taekwondo
    • Athletics
    • Chess
    • Tennis
    • Captainball
    • Karate
    • Bowling
    • Squash
  • Must have secured offer letter of admission from Taylor's University
  • Malaysian students holding results from recognised institutions in Malaysia / Malaysian students holding results from recognised overseas institutions for selected qualifications (e.g.: IGCSE) / International students from TEG schools only
  • Meet minimum programme entry requirement
  • May use forecast/trial/mid-term/actual results to apply
  • Achievements in competitions and positions held in clubs/societies/institutions/events will be evaluated based on level of participation
  • To select any intake for the specific year only (non-transferable)

Highlights

  • All full scholarship recipients are required to join the Scholar's Club during the duration of their scholarship and fulfill participation as stated in the club recruitment form
  • Scholarships are only awarded for the enrolled programme
  • Subsequent upgrade is not possible for application using forecast/trial results
  • Scholarship is not transferable to other intake if there is any changes in intake.
  • Scholars need to maintain satisfactory results throughout standard programme duration
  • Quantum will be awarded at the discretion of the Scholarships Management

  • 50% Tuition Fee waiver

Details

Taylor’s College Sports Scholarship is calling for all nation sports heroes to join the league. Join us to study & play with the best of the best. Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students based on achievements in sports i.e. participate in any National-level competition or above.

Application

  • Link for online application to be provided after consultation with education counsellors
  • Application online closes up to 3 weeks before the intake month
  • As part of assessment, applicants are required to partake in an  Interview by Sports & Recreation Centre with alignment of Scholarships Management team
