Criteria

To be considered for the Athletic Excellence Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Open to all MAHSA University's enrolled students
  • Applicants must actively participate in inter-university, national, or state-level sports competitions as ambassador of MAHSA University.
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or higher throughout their studies at MAHSA University.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and a willingness to contribute positively to the MAHSA University sports community.

  • Scholarship renewal depends on maintaining academic progress, consistent athletic achievement, and ongoing leadership in sports.
  • Recipients must maintain active participation in national, or state-level sports competitions as ambassadors of MAHSA University.
  • Recipients must uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and maintain a commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Recipients must maintain satisfactory attendance in all classes and adhere to the institution's attendance policies by 80%.

  • Financial assistance to cover travel costs, accommodation, and other expenses related to participation in sports competitions.
  • Priority access to MAHSA University's sports facilities, including training grounds, gyms, and competition venues.

Details

Awarded to students with outstanding sports achievement at the Inter-University, State, and National levels.

Application

  1. Application deadlines: During Orientation Week Only
  2. The Student shall complete the application Form for the Scholarship and submit the application form together with the following documents to the Prospective Student Office:-
    1. Completed Scholarship Application form
    2. 1 Passport size photograph
    3. Certified true copy of the Student’s NRIC/Passport
    4. Certified true copy of the Guarantor’s NRIC/Passport
    5. Certified true copies of the examination certificates and/or transcripts
    6. Extracurricular certificates
    7. Latest EA/E Form (Income Tax Returns Form) and/or Parent/Guardian’s three-month pay slip or any documentary evidence of financial hardship
  3. The Student must submit the certified true copy of the actual results. Forecast results are not acceptable.
  4. The Student may be required to attend an interview for the Scholarship and the date, time, and venue of the interview will be informed to the Student.
  5. Scholarships are subject to approval by the selection committee.
