Criteria

You must meet the following criteria to stand a chance for nomination:

  • Current student of Monash University Malaysia who have completed 2 semesters of study with 48 credit points.
  • Have achieved average score of 80% and above from the 8 units completed.
  • Fall within the top 1% of the school population.
  • Students who have been awarded scholarships / sponsorship from other bodies (not including PTPTN) will not be nominated for the Monash High Achiever Award (for continuing students).

Highlights

  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress which, for the purpose of retaining the scholarship, is defined as maintaining an average score of at least 75% (in at least 24 credit points of study) each semester
  • Not have failed any unit in any semester
  • Not receive any other tuition scholarship and other financial assistance, with the exception of a PTPTN loan
  • Be responsible for paying your tuition fee balance each semester
  • Be enrolled on a full-time basis throughout the duration of your course; an intermission or leave of absence will not be allowed unless due to extenuating circumstances.

Up to RM 5,000 tuition fee waiver per semester.

Details

Scholarship awarded to qualified candidates as nominated by the respective Schools based on their outstanding academic achievements once they have completed 2 semesters of study in Monash University Malaysia.

Application

Eligible students will be nominated automatically.  Nomination will be carried out every semester. No application is required.
