Criteria

  • For Malaysian students only
  • Must meet one of the following minimum entry requirements:
    • A-Levels: BBB
    • SACE/AUSMAT: ATAR 78
    • CPU/CIMP: 78%
    • UCSI Foundation/Diploma: CGPA 3.20 (other institutions on a case to case basis)
    • STPM: CGPA 3.20
    • UEC: 2A & 18 points (best 5 subjects)
    • IB: 30 points

Highlights

  • Successful recipients must maintain a minimum CGPA 3.00 for every semester. Education Grant will be revoked if recipients do not meet this criterion.
  • Successful applicants are to voluntarily contribute effort and time assisting the UCSI College and the UCSI University Trust in UCSI University Trust in their various workplace and community projects (30-90 SWA Points per normal semester or 15-45 SWA Points per short semester).
  • To continue the scholarship, successful applicants are required to apply for the UCSI University Trust Scholarship using Diploma/ Degree Year 1 results with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.
    Shortlisted applicants are required to undergo a scholarship interview and the continuation of scholarship is subject to the decision made by the scholarship selection committee.

Details

This education grant provides partial tuition fee waiver for the candidates who demonstrate good academic achievements and active participation in extracurricular activities. The education grant entitlement corresponds to the academic achievements obtained. Tuition fee waiver is to be granted for Degree Year 1 only. 

Application

  1. Must meet the requirements to register for the selected programme and pay the registration fee to first obtain the UCSI University's Letter of Acceptance.
  2. Submit the application form together with the Letter of Acceptance to the UCSI University Trust before the application deadline (typically a full month before the intended degree intake month).
  3. Produce certified true copies of examination results and other supporting documents stipulated in the form during the interview
  4. Will be informed by the UCSI University Trust via e-mail within 2 weeks IF application is successful
  5. Must notify UCSI University of acceptance within 2 weeks of being offered the twin-sharing university accommodation. The offer will be withdrawn and will not be
    redeemable or exchangeable for cash after the 2 week period should there be no notification of acceptance.
