Have been offered admission into TAR UC’s undergraduate or postgraduate programme
Must be a Malaysian citizen
Must be a former TAR UC student who possesses Cambridge GCE A Level or a TAR UC Foundation / Diploma / Bachelor Degree who is graduated with minimum CGPA of 3.5000
Financial needy
Active participation in extra-curricular activities

Highlights

The scholarship recipient’s eligibility will be reviewed on an annual basis and any extensions for a successive year will be granted at the absolute discretion of TAR UC and subject to the scholarship recipient’s satisfactory performance and conduct.
Scholarship holder must maintain good academic results or otherwise every semester.
All scholarships are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Scholarship holder maybe required to perform a Service Bond at a company nominated by TARCian Alumni Association (TAA) upon graduation.
Scholarship holder shall not change his/her programme of studies unless with written permission from the TAR UC.
Scholarship holder may be required to reimburse the scholarship award amount received up to date of termination / withdrawal / suspension, in case of termination /withdrawal / suspension from the University enrolled in.
Scholarship holders shall not be simultaneously receiving scholarship from other organizations / agencies unless with written approval from TAR UC.
TAR UC reserves the right to involve the scholarship recipient in interviews, advertisements, photography or other publicity-related activities for promotion purpose.
Terms and conditions of TAR UC - TAA Scholarship may be modified and amended from time to time as deemed appropriate by TAR UC.
The decision of TAR UC Student Scholarship Committee shall be final and conclusive. No appeal shall be entertained.

University’s Tuition Fees as per the university’s bill for the duration of the programme.
The applicable period for the Service Bond shall be determined solely based on the scholarship awarded as shown below:
- Total Award RM20,000.00-39,999.99 | One (1) Year Bond
- Total Award RM40,000.00-49,999.99 | Two (2) Year Bond
- Total Award Above RM60,000.00 | Three (3) Year Bond

Details

TAR UC - TAA Scholarship is established by TAR UC Alumni Association (TAA) to provide scholarships to TAR UC registered students or graduates who demonstrate high academic achievements and participation in student activities to pursue their further studies in TAR UC undergraduate or postgraduate programmes.

Application

Apply Online through Student Intranet from a Computer. Online application opens in June.
Email the application form & supporting documents (as listed in the application form) to the scholarship mailbox at scholarship@tarc.edu.my before the stipulated closing date.
- Merge the application form & supporting documents in ONE PDF file. Application form is to be placed at the front and followed by the supporting documents.
- State the reason in your email if you are unable to provide certain documents.
- Email Title & Attachment File Name:
  Eg 1: TAA_Name_Faculty (i.e. TAA_Tan Chee Keong_FAFB) if only apply for TAA Eg 2: TAA & TG_Name_Faculty (i.e. TAA & TG_Tan Chee Keong_FAFB) if apply for both TAA & Top Glove
Shortlisted applicants are required to attend online interview sessions. The Faculties/Branch Campus will notify the applicants regarding details of the online interview via email / phone calls / message.
Award of scholarship to any eligible applicants is contingent upon him/her accepting/gaining admission into TAR UC, and has met the TAR UC - TAA Scholarship Criteria.
Successful applicant must confirm acceptance of the scholarship award within 1 week of offer, failing which the scholarship offer shall automatically lapse.
Successful applicant has to sign an agreement with the TAR UC and abide by the terms and conditions as set therein.
