Criteria

Minimum requirements:

  • A-Levels: 12 points
  • SAM/AUSMAT: ATAR 85% and above
  • UEC: 4As
  • Foundation/STPM/Diploma: CGPA 3.50

Continuing students need to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.30 to qualify for a merit award which is subject to the Scholarship Committee’s approval.

  • Students are only entitled to one scholarship at any one time. (Scholarships also cover prizes, study awards, bursaries and fee waivers.)
  • Applicants may be awarded a sum that is less than that stipulated in the brochure

Study Award for new students pursuing a Bachelor of Education in TESL

Application

  • Complete a HELP Scholarship Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results.
  • International students may apply in their first year on a case-by-case basis
  • New students are required to submit a HELP Application Form to apply for the chosen programme and pay the Student Application Fee before submitting the scholarship application form.
  • New students will submit the respective forms and attachments to the Scholarship Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  • Application deadline is 2 weeks after commencement of programmes OR 2 weeks after the release of actual results.
