Criteria

  • Malaysian Bumiputera
  • Completed Diploma or a Pre-University course with minimum CGPA 3.00. Accepted pre-university qualification includes:
    • STPM
    • A-Level
    • iSACE
    • Foundation
    • Matriculation
    • AUSMAT
    • IB Diploma
  • Applicable for selected degree programmes only i.e.
    • Architecture
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Electrical & Electronic Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Banking & Finance
    • Actuarial Studies
    • Accounting (Fintech)
    • Medicine (MBBS)
    • Pharmacy
    • Biomedical Science
    • Food Science
  • Household annual taxable income of below RM250,000
  • For parents who are working overseas or self-employed, the average monthly income should be RM15,000 and below
  • Free from chronic / infectious diseases / diseases that require follow-up treatment
  • Not sponsored by any other sponsoring body/company or PTPTN loan

Highlights

  • As this is a Convertible Loan, recipients are required to repay MARA upon completion of the studies.
  • Sponsorship Repayment (amount) will be determined by MARA upon completion of the study based on recipients' CGPA
  • Recipient cannot take PTPTN loan.

Details

The Tertiary Studies Sponsorship Program (TESP) is a Convertible Study Loan under the People's Trust Council (MARA) program for STPM Leaver, Diploma leaver or candidates with a Pre-University qualification or equivalent.

  • Proceed to submit the application for MARA TESP on their officlal website before the application deadline
  • Please include Taylor's Letter of Acceptance and other supporting documents attached as part of submission.
  • The approved applicants will be announced on the MARA website.
  • Notify Taylor's of the approval so that follow-up with MARA can begin.
