Criteria

  • Applicant must have represented the state/country in any sports during their upper secondary (Form 4-6).
  • The sport must be affiliated with Olympic Council Malaysia (OCM)/National Sports Council (NSC).
  • Applicant must be a full-fee paying student pursuing the Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science programme or Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science or Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Sports Coaching and Performance Analysis.

Highlights

  • Applicant must not be in receipt of any other scholarships/grants unless written permission is first obtained from the University.
  • The Bursary is only for Year 1 Semester 1 students.

Tuition Fee

Award of Scholarships are categorised as below:

  • National Player : 50% waiver of tuition fee for 1 Semester only
  • State Player : 25% waiver of tuition fee for 1 Semester only

Awarded to young athletes (State/National) enrolling to Sports Science programme at TARUMT

Application

  1. Application form and information pertaining can be downloaded from the TARUMT Financial Aid Website.
  2. All completed forms with the required supporting documents must be submitted to TARUMT Department of Students Affairs before the stated closing date.
  3. Shortlisted applicants shall be required to attend an interview.
  4. Successful applicants are required to sign an agreement with TARUMT.
  5. For any inquiries regarding application procedures and progress on scholarship application, may refer to Department of Student Affairs.
