Criteria

Applicants who have already commenced tertiary studies, or applicants transferring with credit exemptions and/or advanced standing, are not eligible to apply.
Students that completed their foundation studies at other institutions are not eligible for this scholarship
Completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international senior secondary qualification accepted by the University with an outstanding Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or equivalent, as deemed by Monash University Malaysia.
Have not commenced tertiary studies or transferred any credit exemptions and / or advanced standing.
Minimum academic results as below :-
- GCE A levels - 3As
- STPM - 11 points
- Australian Matriculation - ≥ 98
- Canadian matriculation - ≥ 95%
- MUFY - 89%
- International Baccalaureate - 38
- UEC - ≥ 6As
- Foundation - Not considered for scholarship
A-Levels - Only advanced level subjects will be considered
CPU - English Year 12 Compulsory

Highlights

Maintain satisfactory academic progress which, for the purpose of retaining the scholarship, is defined as maintaining an average score of at least 75% (in at least 24 credit points of study) each semester
Not have failed any unit in any semester
Not receive any other tuition scholarship and other financial assistance, with the exception of a PTPTN loan
Be responsible for paying your tuition fee balance each semester
Be enrolled on a full-time basis throughout the duration of your course; an intermission or leave of absence will not be allowed unless due to extenuating circumstances.

Tuition Fee

Up to RM 5,000 tuition fee waiver per semester.
Students are responsible for paying the balance of the tuition fees each semester.

Details

Awarded to all undergraduate courses except Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours).

Application

Forecast results not accepted.
An application for Admission to the University will constitute an application for a scholarship.
All applications for Admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for a scholarship.
All successful candidates will be offered a Scholarship along with the Offer of Admission to Monash University Malaysia.
If you are eligible, you will receive notice of the scholarship when you receive your letter of offer and you must accept the scholarship offer, as per instructed, before the lapse date specified.
Application deadline as per respective course application deadlines.
