  • Applicants must also be a Malaysian citizen and have a valid Malaysian IC.
  • Applicants must make full payment of registration and administration fee before they are eligible to apply for this promotion.

Highlights

  • The subsidy does not apply to SKM programmes or during the practical semester.
  • Cash exchanges are not permitted for the subsidy.
  • The subsidy is subject to the availability of the hostel, and miscellaneous fees may apply for selected centers.
  • The management reserves the right to amend or cancel any new subsidy promotion at any time without prior notice.
  • This subsidy cannot be transferred to another individual, exchanged for cash or any other benefits, financial or otherwise modified.
  • The subsidy is only valid for the programme in which the applicant has enrolled in and for the applicant’s duration of study at the specified UNTAR campus. In the event the applicant changes programmes or transfer campuses or regional centers, the tactical may be terminated. Any extension or deferment by applicant that led to the extension of the duration of study / stay, will not be covered under this subsidy.
  • This will be subjected to the approval of UNITAR.
  • Failure to comply with such request without reason/s acceptable to UNITAR will result in a suspension or termination of the scholarship / bursary.
  • UNITAR reserves the right to terminate the scholarship if the applicant does not comply with the rules and regulations stipulated by UNITAR, including but not limited to the terms and conditions mentioned herein.
  • All decisions made by UNITAR are final and not open to negotiation.
  • All appeals for this bursary are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Hostel Fee (Per Semester)

  • Hostel Registration Fee - RM 100 (Waived)
  • Monthly Rental
    • RM 110 (Waived College)
    • RM 165 – 175 (Waived MLK RC)
    • RM 210 - 275 (Waived RC KK)
  • Maintenance / Utilities / Transport - RM50 (Standardize to RM50 each month)

Subsidy Period

  • CBM - Up to 4 semesters
  • Foundation - Up to 3 semesters
  • Diploma - Up to 7 semesters
  • Degree - Up to 9 semesters

Hostel subsidy is applicable only to Full time/Conventional Programmes studying under UNITAR Colleges & Regional Centres
