Criteria

  • Students must meet entry requirement of the selected course
  • Full-time Malaysian students in Imperium International College who are state or national sports personalities two years before joining the College.
  • Sport(s) excelled in should be affiliated with the Olympic Council Malaysia or National Sports Council.
  • Verification of student status as sports personalities is done by the National or State Sports Association.

Highlights

  • Students may only hold one bursary or scholarship award at any one time.
  • Recipients must maintain the following minimum GPA for the duration of the scholarship:
    • GPA 2.75 out of a maximum of 4.00, if actively involved in sports. This includes but not limited to participating in national and/or state level competitions, attending trainings, etc.
    • GPA 3.50 out of a maximum of 4.00, if not actively involved in sports.

Awards

Tuition Fee
  • 50% waiver in tuition fee for State athletes
  • 60%* waiver in tuition fee for National athletes

** Applications may be considered on a case-by-case basis and a higher quantum may be awarded.

Details

The above financial aid is awarded to registered students who have excelled in sports and have represented the state or country in competitions.
