The High Achiever's Scholarship (HAS) is a merit scholarship awarded at the discretion of the University to deserving and academically excellent students in recognition of their achievements.

- Applicants must meet the minimum academic requirements or equivalent:
- SPM - 6As
- IB MYP - 5 "6"
- IGCSE - 5As
- A-Level - ABB
- IB Diploma - 32 points
- STPM - ABB
- UEC - 3As, 2B3s
- SAM/AUSMAT - ATAR 89
- CIMP - 81%
- Diploma - CGPA 3.45 (not eligible if transferring with credit exemptions)
- Foundation - CGPA 3.45
- MUFY - 80%
- Grades obtained in religion, general studies physical education, and subjects which are not taken into consideration for a programme are generally excluded.
- Where a programme requires a specific subject grade equivalent to A level, you will be asked to achieve a particular grade at a similar level. Grade A- or B-* will not be considered when grade A or *B is required as part of the criteria
