Criteria

Scholarship to a limited number of eligible undergraduate and postgraduate international students from the following countries who can demonstrate excellence in their application.

  • South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore)
  • China (including Hong Kong)
  • South Asia (India, Pakistan)
  • Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe)
  • Europe (Norway, Switzerland)

You will need to achieve high academic results exceeding the entry criteria for the course and demonstrate excellence in extracurricular activity, either in your own time or through your employment in the last two years in your personal statement.

Requirements:

Undergraduate

  • Diploma / Advanced Diploma CGPA: 3.8 - 3.9 
  • International Baccalaureate: 34 points

Postgraduate

  • Bachelors Degree CGPA: 3.8 - 3.9

Highlights

  • Scholarships and Discounts are not available to use against any maintenance costs, and no cash alternatives are available
  • Scholarships and Discounts are offered based on the Programme of study you state in your application. If after applying for a Scholarship, you choose to study on different Programme of study, the University cannot guarantee that you will receive the same Scholarship (or any Scholarship) for the new Programme you have chosen, and you will need to speak with the University if you no longer wish to study on the Programme
  • Students will be required upon written notice to repay all or part of their Scholarship or Discount in any of the following circumstances:
    • if the Student is found to have misrepresented his/her entitlement to the Scholarship;
    • if the Student is in breach of any obligations referred to in these Terms and Conditions;
    • if the Student Contract is terminated for any reason within 3 months of the start of the Programme, subject to any provisions relating to refunds in the Student Contract.

Tuition Fee

Fee waiver for the first full year of study GBP 5,000 (MYR 27,200 - 1 GBP = MYR 5.44)

Details

The Excellent International Student Scholarship provides one full year’s tuition fees to a limited number of eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students.
