Criteria

  • The student must from resident care homes, community centers, welfare homes, NGOs or poor communities
  • The student must from household where its income is lesser than RM36,000 per year.
  • This scheme is opened to all Malaysian students from the age of 18 – 25

Highlights

  • The student must maintain full-time enrolment & successfully complete the program
  • The student must maintain at least 85% or more attendance in lecturers and tutorials for each subject.
  • The student must maintain at least a CGPA of 2.85 each semester.
  • The student must maintain a minimum of 42 contribution hours (long semesters) of his / her time to assist the faculty.

Free hostel accommodation up to 36 months or program duration whichever is lesser OR Monthly allowance of RM500.

Details

The Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is awarded to continuing students who have completed Foundation program in City University and are pursuing a Degree program in City University.

Application

  1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form and attach certified true copies of academic results transcript.
  2. New students are required to submit the Application Form to apply for the chosen program and pay the Application and Registration Fee before submitting the Scholarship Application Form.
  3. New students are required to submit the respective forms and attachments to the Scholarship Officer in the One-Stop Centre before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  4. All scholarship applicants will be evaluated and short listed by the Scholarship Committee and the Scholarship Committee reserves the right to revise the criteria from time to time without prior notice. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final.
  5. Successful Applicants are required to submit a copy of the semester result and co-curriculum activities to the Scholarship Officer in order for the scholarship to be continued to the next semester.
