Criteria

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Between 18 and 25 years of age
  • Meet the academic criteria
  • Achieve a FS Aptitude Test score of 16/20 or above
  • Demonstrates a passion for technology
  • Possess self-motivation and a positive attitude
  • Is registered as a Forward College student
  • Signed the FS Acceptance Form
  • Meet the following academic criteria:

Full Scholarship

  • SPM/O-Level - min. 4As, with a grade B in Mathematics and English
  • STPM - CGPA 3.50, with MUET Band 3
  • UEC - max. 13 points in best 5 subjects, with a B6 in Mathematics and English
  • A-Level - min. 14 points in the best 3 subjects (A+/A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1)
     
  • Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma - CGPA 3.50

 

Partial Scholarship

  • SPM/O-Level - min. 6Bs, with a grade B in Mathematics and English
  • STPM - CGPA 3.00, with MUET Band 3
  • UEC - max. 25 points in best 5 subjects, with a B6 in Mathematics and English
  • A-Level - min. 12 points in the best 3 subjects (A+/A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1)
     
  • Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma - CGPA 3.00

Highlights

  • During the NitroDegree course, students will also be doing their industrial attachment with the sponsoring company.
  • Upon graduation, recipients will be engaged by the sponsoring company for an employment contract of 2 years. Companies include:
    • Vitrox
    • Experior
    • Exabyte
    • GCR

Awards

Tuition Fee

If the application is approved, the students will get:

  • Fully paid sponsorship to study NitroDegree of Applied Software Engineering
  • Be guaranteed a 2-year full-time employment by the sponsoring company upon graduation (min. salary of RM 3,000)

Details

  • All sponsored students under the SSP Program are required to be under a 2-year employment contract with their sponsoring companies.
  • The Student Sponsorship Program (SSP Program) is set up to fund students passionate in tech by Forward College's sponsoring companies to study Forward College's NitroDegree in Applied Software Engineering (NASE).
