Criteria

  • Students must meet the minimum entry requirement for the course
  • Students must study in an undergraduate degree (with the exception of the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Dementia Care and AMC Seafaring courses) and also postgraduate coursework degrees (with a few course exceptions)

Highlights

  • Applicants cannot retain two tuition fee scholarships. The scholarship with the highest value would be the recommended scholarship to accept.
  • Study Abroad and Exchange international students undertaking short-term academic studies for a 6 or 12 month period at the University are not eligible to receive any international student scholarship or bursary.
  • Students are recommended to refer to their conditions of acceptance in their offer letter to confirm results required to maintain their scholarship.

Details

The Tasmanian International Scholarship provides commencing international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained).

Application

Students are assessed automatically for the Tasmanian International Scholarship upon submission of their International Student Application, so there is no need to apply separately, nor do recipients need to apply for ongoing eligibility.
