Criteria

  • The student must be active sportsman / sportswoman serving the country or state or City University.
  • The Student must represent City University in Mahsiswa (or MAPCU or equivalent) games and/or one of other national level tournaments as and when required.
  • The student must meet the minimum entry requirements

Highlights

  • The student must maintain full-time enrolment for each year of the program.
  • The student must apply for the scholarship on semester-to- semester basis and it is applicable for long semester only.
  • The student must maintain at least 85% or more attendance in lecturers and tutorials for each subject.
  • The student must maintain a minimum academic achievement CGPA 2.85 for each semester.
  • The event participated must be of national level of high competitive event.

Awards

Tuition Fee
  • Up to 100% tuition fee waiver.
  • The scholarship will be awarded to the successful applicants during the Special Award ceremony.
  • The scholarship amount will be based on the annual tuition fee in the year of review.

Details

Sports Scholarship for Active National Sportsman/Sportswoman awarded to candidates who have outstanding sports achievement at the State and National levels.

Application

  1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form and attach certified true copies of academic results transcript.
  2. New students are required to submit the Application Form to apply for the chosen program and pay the Application and Registration Fee before submitting the Scholarship Application Form.
  3. New students are required to submit the respective forms and attachments to the Scholarship Officer in the One-Stop Centre before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  4. All scholarship applicants will be evaluated and short listed by the Scholarship Committee and the Scholarship Committee reserves the right to revise the criteria from time to time without prior notice. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final.
  5. Successful Applicants are required to submit a copy of the semester result and co-curriculum activities to the Scholarship Officer in order for the scholarship to be continued to the next semester.
  6. The committee will review the above scholarship on an annual basis – at the end of November of each year. The qualified students are required to submit their application forms and proof of their achievement by 3rd week to Student Affairs Department.
