Criteria

Minimum requirements:

  • A-Levels: 12 points
  • SAM/AUSMAT/CPU: 85% and above
  • UEC: 4As
  • Foundation/STPM/Diploma: CGPA 3.50

Scholarship is valid for the following degrees:

  • Bachelor of IT (Hons) Year 1
  • Bachelor of IT (Hons) Data Analytics Year 1
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) Year 1

Continuing students need to maintain a CGPA of 3.75 to qualify for a Merit Award, subject to the Scholarship Committee’s approval.

Highlights

  • Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
  • Students are only entitled to one scholarship at any one time. (Scholarships also cover prizes, study awards, bursaries and fee waivers.)
  • Applicants may be awarded a sum that is less than that stipulated in the brochure

Scholarships for new students enrolling to Bachelor of IT/Computer Science at HELP University

Application

  • Complete a HELP Study Award Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results 
  • International students may apply in their first year Fee Waiver or Study Awards or vice versa on a case-by-case basis
  • New students who have not joined HELP Academy/University are required to pay a minimum of RM300 of the Student Application Fee to be eligible to apply for one of the Fee Waiver or Study Awards (Whichever higher).
  • All recipients of Study Awards are required to submit the respective forms and attachments to the Study Award Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  • Application deadline is 2 weeks after commencement of programmes OR 2 weeks after the release of actual results.
