Highlights

  • The bursary holder is required to achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.75 every semester to maintain the bursary. Failure to do so will result in the bursary being withdrawn. No appeal is allowed.
  • Applicants are allowed to apply for one Scholarship/Bursary only.
  • The bursary holder is required to contribute hours every semester as
    stated below:

    Bursary Percentage Contribution Hours (Per Semester)
    20% to 50% 15 Hours
    60% to 90% 20 Hours
    100% 25 Hours

  • Up to 100% tuition fee waiver for Han Chiang High School students
  • Up to 50% tuition fee waiver for High School students from Private or Government (SMK/SMJK) schools

The fee waiver amount is subject to the decision of the scholarship board

 

Details

Bursary awarded to Han Chiang High School OR  High School students from Private or Government (SMK/SMJK) schools with the Principal’s Recommendation.

Application

  • Complete the Online Scholarship/Bursary Application Form, with the
    required supporting documents.
  • Attach the Certified True Copy document(s) for the Online Scholarship/Bursary Application:
    • Recommendation letter signed by the High School Principal. Certified True Copy is non-applicable for the letter. The applicant needs to submit the original recommendation letter to Student Services.
    • Applicant’s Identity Card (MyKad) front & back on one A4 size page.
  • Submit the online application before the closing date.
