Engineering students will study 2 years in Malaysia and 2 years in the UK. Students from the other programmes can also apply to complete their degree in the UK (1+2 and 2+1 delivery models are available).

Studying in the University of Southampton Malaysia helps to save up to 75% of the cost, compared with completing the programme fully in the UK. 

• The Engineering split-campus programmes are 40% more affordable. Our Engineering students pay their 1st and 2nd year studies in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR) and enjoy a 20% discount when they transition to the UK to complete their 3rd and 4th years.
• Students on the Business programmes in the Malaysia campus will save up to 60% of the cost of our UK-based degree, if they choose to complete the programme fully in Malaysia.

The University mould the students to be career-ready through:

• Career fairs (virtual and physical) for our students to engage with employers.
• Employer-led workshops to help students build the skills needed for the job application process and beyond.
• A variety of internships opportunities allowing them to gain experiences before graduation at high-profile companies such as Intel, Apple, Dyson and UK Space Agency. Some even continue working at the same organisation after graduation.
