This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for eligible applicants
York Global Impact Masters Scholarship provides support to international postgraduate students at the University of York, helping them achieve their academic ambitions and excel in their chosen field
Requirements
Requirements
- Open to students from USA, Canada, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Türkiye, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Egypt.
- Have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 31 August 2026
- Be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by 31 August 2026)
- Intend to study a full-time postgraduate taught course
You will not be eligible if
- You hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored
- You are a partnership student coming to study at York on an approved partnership agreement.

Awards Details
Scholarship amounts are determined based on the student’s country of domicile:

USA/Canada: GBP 5,000 waiver for first year

Countries 1: GBP 6,000 waiver for first year

Countries 2: GBP 8,000 waiver for first year

Countries 1: India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Brazil or Türkiye

Countries 2: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, or Egypt
