This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for international postgraduate research Chemistry students.
Wild Prizes and Bursaries are funding awards offered by the University of York for international students starting postgraduate research in Chemistry.

Requirements
- Open to International (including EU) students only
- Applications for Wild Prizes and Bursaries are open to students who are domiciled or a national of any country outside the UK, and who pay fees at the international rate
- You should already hold an offer to study for a PhD, MPhil or MSc by Research in Chemistry at the University
- You will need to take up your place on your course between September 2026 and August 2027
- Your application will be considered by the Graduate Awards panel taking into account academic merit, where you are from, your expressed financial need and departmental strategy
- Application deadline: Monday 1 June 2026, 11.59pm BST

- Continued payment of awards is subject to satisfactory progress.
- Successful candidates will be asked to provide annual updates on their work as a report to the donor, and may be required to meet the donor should a visit to York take place.
