Terry Suthers Scholarship is awarded to students enrolling in the MA in Historical Archaeology at the University of York.

- Open to International (including EU) and UK (home) students
- Open to students in the Department of Archaeology
- Open to current and prospective UK (home), EU and international students
- Open to full-time applicants to the MA Historical Archaeology in the Department of Archaeology, studying in September 2025/6
- Students will need to demonstrate academic merit, commitment to the field of historical archaeology and the public understanding of archaeology and heritage
- A question regarding widening participation and the impact of receiving an award will also be asked; answers will inform consideration of applications if multiple applicants are deemed equally deserving
- Application deadline: 30 April 2026, 11.59pm BST
