This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for postgraduate taught students applying to selected Hull York Medical School programmes

The HYMS Graduate Scholarship is a tuition fee discount for graduates of the University of York, University of Hull, or Hull York Medical School who progress to eligible postgraduate taught programmes at HYMS.

How to qualify

Requirements

  • You may be eligible for this award if you have an undergraduate degree from a previous and separate programme at the University of Hull, the University of York or Hull York Medical School
  • This award is also available to alumni who studied for an undergraduate degree at the University of Hull, the University of York or Hull York Medical School in previous years and would now like to study a postgraduate taught masters programme at the Medical School (2025/2026)
  • To apply for funding, you will need to hold an offer to study at Hull York Medical School
  • This award does not apply to MB BS Medicine students who intercalate onto the programmes listed above as they are not at that point graduates, and it applies only to postgraduate taught masters programmes, and not postgraduate research degrees.
  • This award does not apply to the PG Cert/PG Dip/MSc in Health Professions Education or PG Cert/PGDip in Health Technology and Human Anatomy.
