The UWE Bristol Sustainability Scholarship is a highly competitive award for international postgraduate students who demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability. The scholarship supports students whose studies and career aspirations align with UWE Bristol’s mission to become a carbon-neutral and sustainability-focused institution.

Requirements
- Be classed as an international student for fee purposes
- Hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught course starting in September 2026
- Be invited to apply for the scholarship (application is by invitation only)
- Submit a written statement (maximum 300 words) on sustainability and career aspirations
- Not be in receipt of another UWE Bristol scholarship or tuition fee discount

- We reserve the right to remove a scholarship from any student who hasn’t paid their full fees by the last payment instalment deadline
- When accepting the scholarship they will have to prove that they satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fees
- They are liable to pay any remaining if scholarship is less than 100% tuition fees, living, transport, and accommodation costs
- Any extension of period of study at UWE Bristol or re-take of module etc, will be at their own expense
- Following graduation, to be an active member of the UWE Bristol Alumni Network by helping the University to promote its programmes to prospective students
- Take part in ambassadorial activity for the University as requested (if specified in your scholarship award letter)
