UWE Bristol Global Success Scholarship

Fee Waiver Up to GBP 9,000

Requirements

To apply for the UWE Bristol Global Success Scholarship, you must:

  • Open to new international undergraduate students starting from the 2026/27 academic year.
  • Not available to current or continuing students; those progressing from a partner institution or UWE Bristol, International College (Kaplan).
  • Not available to those progressing from a partner institution onto an advanced entry year (YR2 or YR3). Or, any Top Up courses.
  • If you are joining a Foundation course or a 4-year course, only the first 3 years are awarded.
  • Hold an offer to study a full-time undergraduate degree at UWE Bristol (some course exclusions may apply).
  • Meet the academic and English language requirements of your chosen programme
  • You can only be in receipt of one University of the West of England scholarship. If you meet the eligibility criteria for more than one scholarship, you will be awarded the scholarship which is the most beneficial to you (unless otherwise stated).
  • Complete the application form within 14 days of receiving the invite

Awards Details

Fee waiver Up to GBP 9,000 over 3 years of study:

  • Year one: GBP 2,500
  • Year two: GBP 3,000
  • Year three: GBP 3,500
  • The scholarship is not available during placement/sandwich (compulsory or noncompulsory) or study abroad years.

Requirements

  • To be eligible you must be an international fee payer.
  • A number of different areas will be considered when offering scholarships including but not exclusive to:
    • Course choice
    • Personal statement
    • Academic references
    • Academic performance
    • Interviews
    • Skills and experience
    • Domicile

The scholarship does not apply to the following criteria:

  • Scholarships are not available in respect of the English language pre-sessional programmes
  • The MBA, BTC, LPC, GDL, MSc Robotics, postgraduate distance learning and postgraduate research degree courses are not eligible for the 50% tuition fees postgraduate scholarships
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses are not eligible for any postgraduate scholarships
  • Students enrolling at Hartpury University are not eligible for any of the UWE Bristol scholarships
  • Students enrolling at a UWE Bristol Partner Institution overseas are not eligible for any of the UWE Bristol scholarships until studying at a UWE Bristol campus (unless otherwise stated)
