The Lincoln Global Leaders Scholarship is a competitive award for high-achieving international students who can demonstrate evidence of leadership, or potential for leadership, and a commitment to their chosen field of study
Requirements
Requirements
Applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Applicants must be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) a country outside of the UK.
- Applicants must have been offered a place on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme commencing in 2026/27 academic year.
- For students intending to join an undergraduate programme, the transcripts should evidence high school grades that are equivalent to 128 UCAS points or above.
- Students intending to join a postgraduate taught programme will need to evidence grades from their undergraduate degree which are equivalent to a 2:1 or higher.
- Applicants must have submitted a completed Global Leaders Scholarship Application Form by the relevant deadline. The Global Leaders Scholarship is competitive and will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate the highest levels of academic, personal, and extracurricular endeavour within their scholarship application form.

- Recipients of the Global Leaders Scholarship will receive invitations to attend exclusive events throughout the year, enabling you to connect and network with fellow scholars. There will also be an opportunity to attend a scholarship award ceremony.
- Scholarship recipients will also receive an invitation after enrolment to apply to become a University of Lincoln International Student Ambassador. If you are selected to be an International Student Ambassador, you will be expected to play an important role in helping to share what makes Lincoln a fantastic place to live and study.
- As an International Student Ambassador, you may be asked to:
- Share your experiences with prospective students, their parents, and members of the public.
- Deliver campus tours to visitors.
- Assist at University Open Days and events.
- Take part in webinars, seminars, panel talks, and Q+A sessions with prospective students.
- Feature in University promotional videos, photographs, and campaigns.
- Prior to becoming an International Student Ambassador you will need to complete a Right to Work Check with the University’s Careers and Employability Team.
