This scholarship provides partial tuition fee waivers for international students
The scholarship is awarded to new international students enrolling in full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate courses at the University of Huddersfield, based on academic merit

Requirements
Applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Be an international fee-paying student.
- Be applying for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course.
- Be fully self-funding your studies, this means you are not receiving any funding for your studies.
- For postgraduate, you must have achieved a minimum 2.2 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree and must meet the English and academic entry requirements for your course.
- PGCE courses are eligible for the merit based scholarship unless already qualified for a bursary.
Exclusions Include
- International students applying for, MA TESOL with Placement.
- Master’s with placement in the Huddersfield Business School are not eligible for these scholarships.
- Master’s by Research programmes are not eligible for merit-based scholarships.
- Applicants with refugee, asylum-seeker status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK are not eligible.

Tuition fee details are as follows:
- Undergraduate:
- AAB UK A-Level Equivalent: GBP 4,000 per year
- General Entry Requirements: GBP 2,000 per year
- Postgraduate:
- First (Hons) Equivalent: GBP 4,000 per year
- Lower Second 2.2 (Hons) Equivalent: GBP 2,000 per year
- It is applied automatically to eligible self-funded students for each year of study, excluding the placement year.
