This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for postgraduate taught MSc students.
Institute for Analytics and Data Science MSc Scholarships are competitive awards for postgraduate taught students joining the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex in 2026-27.
Requirements
Requirements
- Eligible courses are any MSc course within the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. However, preference will be given to students studying courses which include an element of study of artificial intelligence.
- These scholarships are restricted to students who are entirely self-funded.*
- These scholarships are available to both Home UK and Overseas fee payers.
- Students must register at the University of Essex in October 2026 for the first year of a full-time or part-time eligible MSc course in academic year 2026-27 only.
- Eligible courses are any MSc course within the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. However, preference will be given to students studying courses which include an element of study of artificial intelligence.
- The award cannot be held in conjunction with any other University of Essex scholarships or discounts.

- Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.
- There will be no payment for repeat periods of study in any circumstances.
- The bursary will be suspended during a period of approved leave of absence (intermission) where this period covers a whole or part of an academic year and may be reinstated on your return to full-time or part time study subject to the conditions above.
