This scholarship is awarded to international students joining the first or second year of an undergraduate Bachelors degree programme at UEA

Applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Be an International student paying overseas fees
- Commencing full-time undergraduate study in September 2026
- Joining the first or second year of an eligible undergraduate Bachelors degree programme
- Students receiving sponsorship covering full fees by an outside body or government organisation are not eligible for this scholarship

- This scholarship can only be received alongside the International Early Payment Awards.
- You are not able to receive any other UEA Scholarships in addition to this. If you are eligible for another UEA Scholarship of higher value, this will automatically replace this Scholarship. Government or educational loans that require repayment do not affect eligibility.

The scholarship is awarded for every year of study, excluding placement years, years in industry, years/semesters abroad or any other occasion where a student is not paying the full Overseas tuition fee.

Fee waiver details for Year 1 & Year 2 Entry are as follows:
- Year 1 Entry: GBP 5,000 for every year of study.
- Year 2 Entry (excluding students joining from UEA International Study Centre)
- Citizen of countries listed below*: GBP 5,000 for every year of study.
- Citizen of other countries: GBP 4,000 for every year of study.
- UEA International Study Centre: GBP 4,000 for every year of study.

Bangladesh, Colombia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam or Zimbabwe
The following courses are not eligible for this scholarship:
- MBBS Medicine
- BSc Physiotherapy
- BSc Occupational Therapy
- BSc Medical Research
- Any Undergraduate Final Year Entry courses
- Degree Apprenticeship courses
