This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for international undergraduate students.
The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship is a prestigious funding award supporting international undergraduate students from low income backgrounds to pursue full-time degree studies at UCL
Requirements

- Be eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee rate.
- Come from a low income background. While University College London generally considers “low income” as GBP 42,875 (annual) or less, this is intended as a guide. The university will still consider scholarship applications even if the applicant’s household income exceeds this amount.
- AND have submitted an admission application for a full-time Undergraduate degree at UCL in 2026/27.
- The scholarship is awarded based on financial need. If you are shortlisted, you will be required to provide financial evidence, usually around mid-May 2026.
- To be eligible for this scholarship, you don’t need an offer of admission, but you must have your fee status confirmed by UCL Admissions.
- The deadline for applications to this scholarship will be at 5pm BST, Monday 27 April 2026.

- If scholarship applicants wish to change their programme at any point, including after receiving confirmation of a successful scholarship application, they must notify the Student Funding Office (SFO) before making any changes to ensure their scholarship remains valid.
- Additionally, scholarship recipients are required to promptly inform the SFO of any additional funding they receive for their undergraduate studies, whether before or after being awarded the scholarship.

Awards Details
- 10 scholarships covering full tuition fees, a maintenance allowance and a fixed allowance for additional costs (e.g. Immigration Health Surcharge and visa fees). The exact amounts for the maintenance and fixed allowances will be confirmed at a later date.
- 20 scholarships covering full tuition fees only.
- 3 scholarships covering full tuition fees specifically for students from India.
- The scholarship is valid for the standard duration of the undergraduate programme.
