Swansea University's main campus is Singleton Campus and has a total of 2 campuses.
Studying in Singleton Campus(Main)
- Location : Singleton Park, Sketty
- Nearby : 5-minute drive from the vibrant city centre
- Getting here : Public transport via bus (First Bus Uni Bus network links our two campuses and the city centre)
- Faculties : Home to 3 faculties, including Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science, and the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
- The University's foundation stone was laid by King George V on 19 July 1920 and 89 students (including eight female students) enrolled that same year. By September 1939, there were 65 staff and 485 students.

Swansea University International Postgraduate Alumni Bursaries
Fee Waiver Up to GBP 5,000
Requirements
- Students must be assessed as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes in relation to their most recent postgraduate application.
- Students must at least achieved Second Class, Second division in Undergraduate study.
- Alumni Bursaries are available for both full and part-time study. For students studying part-time, the award will be made on a pro-rata basis.
- Open to International Swansea Alumni candidates applying for a Taught Master’s or Research degree in any subject area.
- The definition of ‘alumni’ is candidates who have successfully completed a ‘full’ degree programme at Swansea University for example:
- Students who have qualified with a Bachelor degree applying for a Taught Master’s or Research programme. Or
- A Taught Masters’ student applying for a further Taught course, subject to meeting Same Level Study regulations. Or
- A Taught Masters’ student applying for Research programme.
Awards Details
- Up to GBP 5,000 per year.
- A reduced tuition fee will be levied at enrolment for the duration of the programme of study, subject to satisfactory annual progression.
- The following candidates are NOT eligible for an Alumni Bursary:
- Students deemed eligible to pay tuition fees at the Home (UK) rate
- Exchange students
- Visiting/Associate students (including English Language students)
- The College, Swansea University Foundation/Pre-Master’s Programme students
- CELTA students, students on professional courses LLM Law and Legal Practice and LLM Professional Legal Practice or students pursuing Computational Mechanics (joint degree with UPC, Barcelona)
- Students qualifying with an ‘exit’ qualification
- Students upgrading from MPhil to PhD.
