The President's Global Scholarships are prestigious awards offering financial support to highly qualified postgraduate taught offer holders joining Queen Mary University of London

How to qualify

Requirements

  • Have achieved a UK 1st Class Honours degree (or international equivalent) by the 31st March 2026.
  • Hold an unconditional offer for an eligible postgraduate taught programme for the September 2026 intake
  • You must be enrolled on a full-time programme.
  • You must not be in receipt of any other University scholarship or full-fee scholarship/sponsorship from any other source.
  • You must be fully self-funded.
  • Have international fee status
  • Pre-masters programmes (standalone and integrated) are not included in the President's Global Scholarship scheme.
  • You must be able to finance the remainder of your tuition fees and living expenses.
  • Applications must be submitted by 17th April 2026
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • Scholarships cannot be deferred to subsequent intakes or years of study.
  • Your fee status must have been confirmed as 'Overseas' by Queen Mary and must remain 'Overseas' throughout the programme.
  • President's Global Scholarship awardees will be expected to act as International Student Ambassadors of Queen Mary, supporting promotional activities during the 2026/27 academic year.
