This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for eligible international students
The Northumbria International Scholarship is available to new undergraduate students from eligible countries
Requirements
Requirements
To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:
- Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
- Be domiciled in Bahrain, Brunei, Myanmar, Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ghana, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, United States, Turkey, Philippines, Jordan, Laos, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates
- Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
- Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Undergraduate course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, in September 2026
- Meet all individual course requirements
- Sponsored students are not eligible for the International Scholarship
- Students undertaking an integrated Masters course will not receive the Northumbria International Scholarship in the final year
- Students who are progressing from a Foundation Year are eligible for the International Scholarship.
- Students undertaking an integrated Masters course will not receive the Northumbria International Scholarship in the final year

- If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn
- If you decide to take a study break, the discount applied to future years will be withdrawn
- If you are required to repeat a year, the scholarship will not be applied again

Fee waiver details are as follows:
- Entry at Level 4 (first year) /Level 5 (second year)/ Level 6 (final year): GBP 3,000
- Subsequent years: GBP 2,000
- Up to a total of GBP 7,000
