This bursary provides tuition fee waiver for Law students.
The Professor Brenda Barrett Law Bursaries support incoming Law students who require financial assistance and demonstrate high achievement at Middlesex University.
Requirements
Requirements
- You must be an incoming first year student, either undergraduate or postgradute, enrolled on one of the Law courses below, starting in September 2026, and able to demonstrate your high achievement.
- The process requires completion of this form as an expression of interest. Students who go on to meet the terms and conditions will be considered for shortlisting and award of a Professor Brenda Barrett Law Bursary.
- Either a UK or an international student.
- Be enrolled on your original programme of study by September 2026 and in continued attendance at the time of any payment.
- Please note that we may require proof before awarding to shortlisted students. For example a student from a low income household may be asked for a copy of their Student Finance letter.

- Agree to actively participate in various activities and events aimed at raising aspirations and awareness of university. This may include attending a filmed interview, or writing about your experience and / or publishing social media posts. Exceptions can apply, and will be considered if you are awarded the scholarship or bursary.
- Consent to the processing of this data by Middlesex University under the provision of the General Data Protection Regulation. Your data may be shared with the relevant donor/academic for the purpose of assessing your scholarship or bursary application.
