This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for eligible international students
This scholarship is offered to international students enrolling in any Undergraduate or Postgraduate Coursework programme at Manchester Metropolitan University

- You must have been accepted onto a taught bachelors degree course or taught masters course (180 credits).
- Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
- Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible.

Highlights
- For Undergraduate, the scholarship is only available for each year of study for 120 credits (pro-rata for part-time over the number of years the course is being studied, up to a maximum of five years) and where the full overseas fee is charged.
- For Postgraduate, the Scholarship offer will only be applied to postgraduate programmes consisting of a minimum of 180 credits, unless specifically stated.
- No other form of Manchester Metropolitan University discount or scholarship may be used in conjunction with the Undergraduate International Scholarship. If a student is in receipt of more than one form of fee reduction (including discounts, awards or scholarships) they will only receive one fee reduction and will be awarded the greater amount.
- Students will not be eligible for the full Scholarship if they do not complete the full course which results in a fee reduction. If they withdraw, suspend or exit with a lesser award the Regulations for the Payment of University Fees state discount/scholarships will be pro-rated if the withdrawal, suspension or exit results in a reduced tuition fee.
- The Scholarship will not be carried over if a student defers entry.
- If a student transfers courses the scholarship will only continue to be available if that new course is eligible for the scholarship.

Fee waiver details are as follows:
- Undergraduate: GBP 2,000 waiver for each year of degree
- Postgraduate (except course listed below): GBP 5,000 in the first year of study
- Postgraduate (specific course listed below): GBP 3,000 in the first year of study
- The following courses are eligible for GBP 3,000 waiver:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Sport Directorship
- Master of Architecture
- MA Architecture and Urbanism
- MA Architecture and Adaptive Reuse
- Master of Landscape Architecture
- The Scholarship is available for a maximum of 3 years on a Bachelor’s programme, or 4 years on an integrated Masters programme or a Bachelor’s programme with an integrated foundation year.
- The scholarship value applicable to your course will be confirmed at the offer stage.
The following programmes are eligible:
- 3-year Bachelor’s degree
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated study abroad or placement year (Scholarship is not payable for the year spent on study abroad or placement)
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated foundation year programme
- 4-year integrated Master’s degree
- Students with advanced standing and joining a degree programme at level 5 or 6 are eligible, providing all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.
- One-year top-up degree courses are eligible for the Scholarship, as long as all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.
- Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible.
- Part-time programmes are eligible for the award. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means you will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of your course.
The following programmes/categories of programmes are excluded from this Scholarship offer:
- Programmes that do not meet the criteria listed above
- Any UG programme delivered by the Manchester School of Architecture
- UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design
Applicable to the following programmes:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Sport Directorship
- Master of Architecture
- MA Architecture and Urbanism
- MA Architecture and Adaptive Reuse
- Master of Landscape Architecture
The following programmes/categories of programmes are excluded from this Scholarship offer:
- Programmes that do not meet the criteria listed above
- Any postgraduate programme delivered by the Manchester School of Architecture
- MSc Place Management and Leadership
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Sport Directorship
- Master of Architecture
- MA Architecture and Urbanism
- MA Architecture and Adaptive Reuse
- Master of Landscape Architecture
- LLM Legal Practice at the Bar
- Postgraduate Diplomas
- Postgraduate Certificates, including PGCE
- Graduate Diploma in Law
- Any other postgraduate programme that does not lead to a master’s degree
