Fee Waiver of

This scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver for eligible undergraduate students from selected regions.
The Postgraduate International Regional Scholarship supports high-achieving international students from selected countries or regions. It is awarded to eligible applicants enrolling in a full-time taught Master’s programme at Lancaster University in 2026 as recognition of strong academic achievement at the point of entry.

Requirements
- Be a national of, or have a permanent home address in, an eligible country/region (Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam)
- Have an average grade to date at a 1st, or 2:1 level in your undergraduate studies (to include equivalent classifications). If you have already completed your undergraduate studies, then you will need to have already achieved a 1st or 2:1 degree.
- Apply for a full-time taught postgraduate (Master’s) programme at Lancaster University for entry in 2026
- Hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible taught postgraduate programme
- Be classified as an international fee-paying student
- Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible for this scholarship where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.
- Only applicable to eligible on-campus taught Master’s programmes at Lancaster University, Bailrigg campus.

- If you meet the eligibility for the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship you can combine it with this International Regional Scholarship – Postgraduate however, it cannot be combined with any other scholarships awarded by Lancaster University.
- Awardees must be classed as 'overseas' or ‘international' fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘home’ fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
