This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for postgraduate law students.
The Converting to Law Scholarship supports recent non-law graduates who wish to begin their journey towards qualifying as a solicitor or barrister.
Requirements
Requirements
- You must apply for a scholarship by the relevant deadline.
- You must have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent (or 2:2 with evidence of mitigating circumstances, reviewed on a case-by-case basis).
- You must not hold full fees sponsorship for the programme from elsewhere (e.g. an employer or one of the Inns of Court).
- Scholarships are only available to new students enrolling onto a programme and are not applicable for those who are already studying on programme.
- Recipients of master’s funding (e.g. from Student Finance England) are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
- Applicable courses: Law Conversion Course (PGDL), Law Conversion Course (Master's), LLM Law Conversion with SQE1.

- A student may not hold more than one scholarship. If awarded more than one, the higher value scholarship will prevail. However, eligible students can still be considered for a higher value scholarship if they do not have full fees covered by other scholarships or bursaries.
