The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students enrolling in postgraduate programmes at Aberystwyth University

Requirements
- Students must be applying for a postgraduate taught programme to receive this scholarship.
- These scholarships are restricted to students who are overseas fee payers and are entirely self-funded (students in receipt of a repayable loan to fund their studies are considered as self-funded)
- Not applicable to applicants entering the second or third year as their first year of study with Aberystwyth.
- Not applicable to students who are assessed as Home-fee payers.
- Not applicable to students who are fully or partly sponsored.
- Students must at least obtained Lower Second (2:2) degree
- Students must be self-funding and not in receipt of any other Scholarships, apart from the IAA.
- Students should meet the University’s usual entry requirements.

- Deferring students. Where a scholarship has been awarded to a student who subsequently defers entry to the following academic year, the award will be withdrawn.
- The award cannot be held in conjunction with any other Aberystwyth University awards, bursaries or scholarships, apart from the International Accommodation Award.

- Postgraduate students (First Honours degree): Waiver of GBP 3,000
- Postgraduate students (Lower Second Degree): Waiver of GBP 2,000
