Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a new to Lincoln University International Student who is planning to enrol in a Bachelor's degree.
- Must not be in receipt of any other scholarship, and should meet all Lincoln University entrance requirements to any Lincoln University Bachelor degree programme.
- The scholarship will be awarded based on Academic excellence. Academic excellence is defined as having a B grade or Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 70% or higher in their entrance qualification or prior programme of study.

- Continuation of the scholarship for the second semester of study shall be conditional upon satisfactory academic progress.
- If a scholar’s performance has not been satisfactory, the Vice Chancellor may suspend or terminate the scholarship for the remainder of the tenure.
- Satisfactory academic progress is defined as a B or equivalent GPA of 5.0.
- The successful recipient may be required to participate in or support any on-campus international and promotional activities as specified by Lincoln University

- First waiver of NZD $5,000 for first year only
- Payments shall be made by way of two equal payments of $2,500 per semester
