Requirements

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Open for Malaysian students only
  • Sign up for any UOW Malaysia programs for the 2026 Intake
  • UOW Foundation Scholarship:
    • Candidates must achieve 5 credits enrolling in the programme
  • UOW Diploma Scholarship:
    • Candidates must achieve 3 credits enrolling in the programme
    • This award is also applicable for SPM Leavers / O-Level Leavers for all Diploma Programs (Excluding Certificate Program)
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • The scholarship promotion period is effective from December 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026.
  • SPM students who meet the criteria, using their trial results, are eligible for an upgrade to HAS. This upgrade is contingent upon the availability of spots in HAS for that particular intake.
  • No stacking of other scholarships applicable.

Fee Waiver Details:

  • Foundation: 30% fee waiver for the entire programme & deductions will occur from semester 1 to 3 of the Foundation program.
  • Diploma: 20% fee waiver, up to a maximum of RM 6,000, applied from Semester 1 (RM 1,000 per semester for 6 semester)

UOW Malaysia is part of the University of Wollongong Australia’s global network, but has a long history of providing accessible, quality, tertiary education to Malaysia, and the surrounding regions, as it was previously known as KDU college and university colleges. Both university colleges offer a full spectrum of programs, within a contemporary learning environment utilizing state-of-the-art facilities, from Foundation through to Bachelor’s Degrees and Postgraduate programs. These include programs in Business, Communication, Creative Arts, Computing, Game Development, Engineering, Hospitality, Tourism, Culinary Arts, and Nursing.
