The UTS Bursary Scheme offers financial assistance to eligible Sarawakian students enrolled in Foundation and Undergraduate programmes at UTS.

How to qualify

Requirements

  • Applicants must be Anak Sarawak.
  • Applicants must be enrolled on a full-time basis.
  • Applicants must have received an offer of admission.
  • Applicants must be pursuing their first undergraduate degree.
  • Applicants must not be receiving any other financial aid or scholarship.
  • Applicants must continue their studies in a degree programme at UTS to qualify for the foundation fee waiver.

Starting 2026, with Sarawak government initiatives, more Sarawakians are able to pursue their studies at UTS through the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) which fully covers tuition fees for eligible students, significantly enhancing accessibility to higher education.
