The UTS Bursary Scheme offers financial assistance to eligible non-Sarawakian students enrolled in Foundation and Undergraduate programmes at UTS.

  • Open to students from West Malaysia and Sabah.
  • Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the programme applied for.
  • Applicable to foundation and undergraduate programmes only.
  • Applicants must continue their studies in a degree programme at UTS to qualify for the foundation fee waiver.

Starting 2026, with Sarawak government initiatives, more Sarawakians are able to pursue their studies at UTS through the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) which fully covers tuition fees for eligible students, significantly enhancing accessibility to higher education.
