The Sunway University CIS-ECA Scholarship 2026 is open to all Chinese Independent School (CIS) students who sat for the UEC examination in 2025 and enrolling to Diploma, Degree & Professional Accounting Programmes at Sunway University

How to qualify

Requirements

  • Open to students who are sitting for Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) 2025
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) results meet Sunway's programme entry requirements
  • During the period from 2023 to 2025, you actively participate in school or extracurricular activities, such as clubs, uniformed groups, sports, performing arts, fine arts and design, talents, or engage in social contribution activities and entrepreneurship. You must also hold a leadership position during this period.
  • Must have school recommendation letter
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • The schedule of general fees must be paid as and when required, in accordance to Sunway University/ Sunway College’s policy on enrolment and fees.
  • Recipients are not eligible for the scholarship for subsequent programmes with the same academic qualification.
  • Accepting any other scholarship (of any amount) will result in automatic termination of this scholarship.
  • All scholars are automatically members of Sunway Student Ambassadors (SSA).
  • Scholars are encouraged to follow SSA social media and participate in activities.
  • Sunway University / Sunway College reserves the right to involve recipients in interviews, advertisements, photography, and other publicity-related activities.
  • A recipient who applies for the programme Transfer may retain his/ her scholarship provided that the new programme does not extend the duration of the scholarship
  • Selection of scholars, eligibility for the scholarship, and scholarship amount awarded, are at the sole discretion of the Sunway Scholarship Committee

Awards Details

  • Degree Programmes: Scholarship awards worth RM8,000, RM10,000, RM12,000, or RM15,000 per annum
  • Diploma Programmes: Scholarship awards worth RM8,000 or RM10,000 per annum
  • Professional Accounting: Scholarship awards worth RM8,000 or RM10,000 for the whole course
